ABOUT US
North Bay Builders is a union carpentry subcontractor specializing in custom commercial interiors.
90% of our work is the fit out of stores in malls all over the state of New Jersey. It is fast paced work and everything has to fall into place to make the grand opening deadline. The carpentry subcontractor helps drive the schedule of the job.
Bill Volk, the owner, started out as a union carpenter right out of high school.
"I saw the need for a good midsize carpentry subcontractor that could survive times of low volume and be able to manage 50-100 carpenters and tapers when things got busy. I personally prepare every bid, and if we are awarded the job I already have a plan in place to get our work done on schedule, and with the highest possible quality and workmanship."
